Integrating Facebook Messenger with ZETA allows your AI assistant to chat directly with users through your Facebook Page.

This guide will walk you through the complete setup process to connect your ZETA assistant to Messenger and manage conversations effectively.

🔹 Step 1: Open Your ZETA Dashboard

Log in to your dashboard and click on the “Integrations” tab, then click “Connect” to Facebook.

🔹 Step 2: Start the Messenger Integration

  • If this is your first time: click Connect

  • If you have connected pages before: click Reconnect

 

🔹 Step 3: Grant Permissions

The first time you connect, Facebook will ask you to allow ZETA to access your Pages.

👉 If you’ve connected before and want to adjust your selection, click Edit Previous Settings.

🔹 Step 4: Choose Which Pages to Connect

You can choose:

  • Opt into current pages only → select specific page

 

🔹 Step 5: Review Permissions & Save

Make sure all permissions are enabled, then click Save.

 

🔹 Step 6: Finish the Setup

Click Done and wait a few seconds while ZETA connects to Messenger.

 

🎉 That’s it!

Your ZETA assistant is now fully integrated with Facebook Messenger.

This step-by-step guide will show you how to connect your ZETA agent to Instagram smoothly and correctly.

✅ Requirements Before You Start

Make sure you have:

✔ An Instagram Professional Account (Business or Creator)
✔ A Facebook Page linked to that Instagram account

Instagram messaging APIs only work with professional accounts connected to a Facebook Page.

 

🚀 Connecting Instagram to ZETA

Step 1: Enable Messaging Access in Instagram

  1. Open Instagram and go to Settings on your Professional Account.

  2. Go to How others can interact with you

  3. Select Messages and Story Replies > Message Controls

  4. Turn ON Allow Access to Messages

 

Step 2: Open Your ZETA Dashboard

Log in to your dashboard and click on the “Integrations” tab, then click “Connect” to Instagram.

 

Step 3: Start the Instagram Integration

Click Connect
Then click I understand

 

Step 4: Continue

Click Continue to proceed with the setup.

Step 5: Login via "Get Started"

Click Get Started to log in with Facebook/Instagram.
If your Instagram account is not yet Professional, you’ll be prompted to upgrade.

 

Step 6: Log in to Instagram / Facebook

Sign in with the account that manages your Instagram page(s).

 

Step 7: Choose Your Business

You will see your businesses linked to Instagram.

  • Select the relevant business

 

Step 8: Choose the Facebook Page Linked to Instagram

Pick the page connected to your Instagram account.

 

Step 9: Select Instagram Pages to Integrate

Choose the Instagram page(s) you want ZETA to respond from.

 

Step 10: Save

Click Save to confirm.

Connect to WhatsApp

✅ How to Connect ZETA to WhatsApp

Integrating WhatsApp with ZETA lets your AI assistant reply directly to users through a WhatsApp phone number.
This creates a fast, seamless, and automated support channel right where your customers already are.

This guide walks you through everything you need to set up WhatsApp with your ZETA agent.

⚠️ Important Before You Start

The phone number you connect to ZETA cannot be used in the regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app anymore.
It becomes dedicated to the WhatsApp Business API (used by ZETA).

✅ If your number is currently used in WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business:

You must delete the WhatsApp account first:

  1. Open the WhatsApp / WhatsApp Business app

  2. Go to Settings > Account

  3. Tap Delete my account

  4. Wait a few minutes — the number will then be free to use

 

✅ If your number was previously used in Meta’s WhatsApp Business API:

You must disable two-step verification:

  1. Login to your Meta Business / WhatsApp Business Account

  2. Select the phone number

  3. Go to Settings > Two-step verification

  4. Click Turn off two-step verification

 

✅ Make sure you have an approved WhatsApp Display Name

Meta must approve your business name before integration.
(If you haven’t done this, it’s best to do it first.)

🚀 Connecting WhatsApp to Your ZETA Agent

Step 1: Open the ZETA dashboard to connect

Log in to your dashboard and click on the “Integrations” tab, then click “Connect” to Instagram.

Step 2: Log in with your personal Facebook account

ZETA uses Meta’s official API, so Facebook login is required.

Step 3: Click “Get Started”

This begins the WhatsApp Business setup.

Step 4: Choose or create a Business Account

Select an existing business profile or create a new one.

Step 5: Create or select a WhatsApp Business Profile

This is the profile that users will see when messaging you.

Step 6: Enter your Business Profile information

Fill out business name, category, and details.

Step 7: Add your phone number

➡ Recommended: Only connect one number per business profile.
You will receive a verification code via SMS or call.

Step 8: Click “Continue”

Step 9: Wait a few seconds for verification

Step 10: Click “Finish”

Your WhatsApp number is now connected to ZETA!
